Challenge Faced by University of Washington
University of Washington offers a number of online classes for its students. However, professors need to record their sessions and post the videos online. This does not make the classes very interactive for students. Faculty are located several time zones away from students but still require a live, interactive relationship between students and teachers.
Basic video conferencing systems are not sufficient for complex course lessons. Students move at different speeds requiring complex document management. University of Washington wanted to make online courses more interactive by using Hoylu for it’s classrooms.
