In January, we sat down, had a deep dive into this project, and realized they weren’t gonna get finished till February, I think it was, beginning of February. So they were a little over two and a half months gonna be late on this project. So this would have been probably a quarter of a million dollar hit on this project, lost.
So at that point, we’ve said, okay, we are going to force you to use Hoylu and start pole playing this project. So I brought my team from SAIT here, and we actually went out, set it up for them, actually sat in on their pull plans and helped them get started. And, three weeks later, they had done three poll plans, and they literally pulled back two months on the schedule by just reorganizing, sitting down with trades and full planning that job. So huge success.
The collaboration part of it with the trades, because obviously, the if they don’t make money, we don’t make money. Right? We we all have to be productive. So the opportunity to work out that phasing plan with the trades.
And and now for me, I mean, I’m sitting in Calgary. I can open up that pool plan. I can see exactly what they’re where they should be.
And same with our construction manager, you know, without having to travel out there, without having to dig that deep.
We just have a much clearer picture. And if they do need help, like, I have my whole staff here at SAIT that, you know, just helps them with the plan.
I think they’ve had it, like, six weeks now. I think they probably had Hoilu running.
They are up and running. I don’t get phone calls anymore. So the the learning curve is pretty short. That’s the other thing I like about it.
You know, we use those those different work areas quite a bit, putting drawings up there, putting details up there. We have a to do board up there.
We have a place where, you know, obviously, people can drop in stuff as well on a on a tack board. We’re all within the same workspace.
