How design and design build firms use Hoylu
Hoylu unites all phases of the construction project lifecycle in one platform. Our fully adaptive workspaces enable better integration of the pre-construction and construction phases and keep all project team members in close collaboration throughout the build.
Interview with Adam Frandson, DPR
I am currently using Hoylu for a large engineering design project that is complex with cross-discipline interconnects. I know that others within the company have used Hoylu for smaller projects as well. It has also been used for non-project specific discussions outside of the Project Management group, such as providing an open space where visuals can support conversation.
We use Hoylu daily. Either by checking on upcoming or due handoffs, pulling up the Weekly Work Plan in our check-in meetings, creating pull plans, and tracking workflow in a Kanban board. I’m a big fan of putting thoughts on paper before I lose them, and Hoylu is easily set up to capture everything instantaneously in multiple platforms for reference.
The capabilities that Hoylu has for not only pull planning but “open space” and linking to external software are unmatched with anything else I’ve used thus far. In addition, the fact that it is web-based and live is a huge benefit as well.Maryam Baghdadi, Senior Project Manager, SSOE
